Pioneering Research & Leadership
I am the Director of the Institute of Spa and Balneology – the first and only public research institution in the Czech Republic dedicated to balneology. I hold a Master's Degree in Environmental Studies and an MBA in Healthcare Management. Currently, I am completing my Ph.D. in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine at Charles University.
I started at the Institute as a research fellow and advanced to Director within four years. Parallel to this, I worked as a consultant for the Karlovy Vary Regional Authority and a grant evaluator for the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic.
My mission is to revive the prestige of Central European spa science, build international bridges and prove that spa medicine can be a vital component of modern, data-driven healthcare.
